I did not know this was what Apollo's voice training sounded like but thank you to this (Japanese) decade-old audio of him and Klavier talking about Gyakuten Orchestra stuff for introducing me. I don't know what I expected haha

anyway i spent like 2 weeks figuring out how to somewhat animate it and that was a journey and a half but I learned a lot!!

Okay the the sculk sensor purring has been on my mind cuz it’s just such a cute idea, and so I finally committed to animating it! Maybe over the summer when I have more time I’ll go back and animate Tanguish breathing softly and helsknight brush through tanguish’s hair, but for now this is what I could do :D the sculk noise kind of sounds more like snoring than purring, but since he’s sleepy I think it works, hope y’all enjoy!

Hi hi! I hope this is okay to ask but which parts of castlevania nocturne did you work on? Like animation, storyboard, character design, backgrounds etc? Thank you for the amazing work that you do! :)

My main role on Nocturne was Production Assistant. I helped out with an episode the moment scripts came in all the way to sending final episodes to Netflix. Basically I had to help manage artists and assets.

That said, I would also jump in and assist with tasks such as animation cleanup and character design. There are a few background characters in season 2 that I got to make model sheets for! I also had a hand in fixing animation during post. Most of it was technical fixes, like colors and shadows popping in and out, but I did get to do some face redraws. It started to become a running joke on the team that I would jump in and take over a task if everyone was too busy (apparently I am fast at my job so if I didn't, I would sit around bored with nothing to do. I never took on a task that was too much for me or interfered with my main work. Don't overwork yourself for a job. No job is worth that (unless someone's literal life in in your hands but I digress))

Overall, working on Nocturne showed me how much of a team effort a show is. I feel like I keep harping on it to folks, but literally everyone played a part in the final product you see. So many view points and ideas that even a PA has influence. Gosh, I would love so much to be able to work with everyone one again!

I might adjust the sound, but otherwise it’s done! The assignment was to do a transformation from one thing into another in 12 frames, so clearly snail to alligator pipeline was the way to go :3
